Just Feelin' It is vivacious and lovely. From jazzy smooth grooves, rhythm and blues to a burst of gospel tunes, Michael Manson's baseline groove pops with inspiration. It's the second recording for the Chicago native on Base Guitar. "I thoroughly enjoyed working on this CD," Manson expressed to CRESCENDOjazz.com.
"Lovely Day," "Outer Drive," "The Basement" are among the hits that grace Manson's latest project. Jazz fans worldwide simply LOVE it.

"JUST FEELIN' IT," IS AN EXTENSION OF MY FIRST RECORD. "THE BOTTOM LINE."
-Michael Manson
Manson pulled in the best from the world of smooth jazz for the recording. The artists range from Brian Culbertson, Kirk Whalum, Jeff Lorber, Rick Braun, Norman Brown and legendary great George Duke. "It was with the help of some great musicians that made it all possible," said Manson.
Manson is credited for producing and writing on the Just Feelin' It project. While, he is ecstatic about all 12 tracks, Manson said one of his favorite tunes is the gospel influenced cut called "Another Chance." "I listen to it everyday," he said. Manson added the spiritually filled sounds on this CD were inspired by his soulful roots in the Windy City.
"The Basement was also another tune that was a free-flow for musicans on the recording," said Manson. "We would just gather in the basement and play. When you listen, that's what the track is all about. We all just got down in the basement and played our hearts out."
There's more to Just Feelin' It. Manson is dedicating
a portion of the earnings to the non-profit organization, "Autism Speaks," and a non-profit organization he launched called "Keys to My Heart." Manson's teen son is autistic. He hopes the message in his music will help spark awareness about the condition that affects so many children across the globe.
